Database Development and Integration

We specialise in working with the latest Microsoft SQL Server Databases, from 2005 to 2010. We work to utilise the best the DB has to offer, and strive to maintain data referential integraty. We perform indexing and work with best practises to ensure your system backend is working to the best it possibly can.

Whilst we prefer the big brother Sql Server, we also work with little brother Access. We reserve for small systems (Even embedded systems when needed), and can work with Access to provide the front end Forms based data access whilst utilising the full power of Sql Server for the back end.

Open source can be a great choice for the budget minded, and also to allow a customised solutions.  An Open Source database can be modified to suit a particular situation.

The Open Source database can also be used royalty free without having to pay licensing fees.

Sometimes an application will need to store data locally, this is where embedded databases come into the picture. We have worked with several embedded database vendors successfully.

An object Database is another type of database which stores data as typed objects instead of relational data structures. This means less overhead as data written to and read from this type of database is already in the format used by the application.

We often work with this type of database when we need an embedded system.
